 Although they're often confused, they're very different pests. 

Moles tunnel underground and feed on insects and worms. Their tunnels can damage lawns and landscaping. 

Voles are small rodents that feed on plants, roots, bulbs, and vegetation. They can cause extensive damage to lawns and gardens. 

You may have activity if you notice:

• Raised tunnels in the lawn
• Soft spots under the grass
• Dead patches of turf
• Damaged garden plants
• Gnaw marks near the base of plants and shrubs

Moles and voles can cause significant damage to:
